  • Data Engineers drive the full lifecycle of designing and building scalable, high-performance data pipelines across diverse platforms and data sources. This includes enhancing data infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • They perform detailed code reviews and offer feedback to uphold best practices and high coding standards. Additionally, Data Engineers support the development of other data engineers through mentoring and technical guidance.
  • They work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data needs and deliver effective engineering solutions. Furthermore, Data Engineers resolve complex data challenges, ensuring data integrity, availability, and consistency.

For this role, we seek a skilled professional with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or backend data systems development.

The successful candidate will be familiar with data pipeline orchestration and workflow management tools such as Apache Airflow, Prefect, and ETL tools like Apache NiFi, Talend, AWS Glue, and Azure Data Factory.

Key skills include:

  • DataDog or similar tools for tracking and monitoring data pipelines
  • DevOps and CI/CD Tools: Docker, Git, CircleCI (or other CI/CD pipelines) for containerization, version control, and automated deployments
