Overview

We seek experienced researchers to perform peer reviews for academic journals and publishers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate manuscripts for novelty and relevance in the field of study.
  • Assess the appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and clarity of the study design and methodology.
  • Check that the manuscript incorporates and cites relevant research in the field.
  • Evaluate the results, conclusions, and overall presentation of the manuscript.
  • Provide constructive feedback suggesting improvements or highlighting flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
  • Recommend publication decisions based on your evaluation.

Requirements:

  • PhD or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant subject area.
  • At least two publications in the last two years in your field.
  • Thorough understanding of research methodologies and principles within your discipline.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback.
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and objectivity.
  • Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
