Job Title: Senior Financial Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our team at Maynilad Water Services, Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial reports to end-users, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders, including monthly bank reconciliation statements, month-end closing entries, and quarterly financial reports.
  2. Financial Analysis: Compute expected credit losses and capitalizable borrowing costs on a quarterly basis to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Audit Support: Provide reliable audit schedules to external auditors, respond to inquiries, and participate in process walkthroughs to ensure smooth audits.
  4. Document Preparation: Prepare Statement of Account (SOA) or Sales Invoice (SI) upon request, and ensure proper and accurate recording of Non-regulated Business (NRB) transactions.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of BS Accountancy, with a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Experience: No experience required; fresh graduates and newly licensed CPAs are encouraged to apply.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Office, strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
