Job Summary:

This role focuses on optimizing cloud infrastructure, building CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring application scalability across environments.

About the Role:

  • Design automation tools using Python, Bash, Terraform, or Nix to improve platform scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to support multiple development teams.
  • Monitor system performance, providing analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  • Practice incident response and promote blameless postmortems.
  • Establish service-level objectives (SLOs), service-level indicators (SLIs), and error budgets for our services.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, responding to and mitigating service interruptions and technical challenges.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, Terraform.
  • Production-grade Docker and Kubernetes experience.
  • Experience scaling MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Solid troubleshooting and performance tuning capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with development teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Proven experience with identity services.
  • Strong background in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience scaling and managing Azure PostgreSQL in production environments.
  • Proficient in deploying and managing Kubernetes operators.
  • Familiarity with service mesh and API gateway technologies.
  • Solid understanding of zero-trust access models and cloud-native security best practices.
