Key Responsibilities of an Instructional Designer Include:

  • Transforming training scripts and storyboards into polished, learner-centric animated videos using Powtoon or similar tools.
  • Applying design guidelines to produce videos that enhance clarity, engagement, and retention.
  • Collaborating with content creators to storyboard scenes, plan visual flow, and determine the most effective visual treatment.
  • Integrating narration, background music, and sound effects to reinforce tone and timing.
  • Converting written training materials into dynamic, learner-friendly video formats.
  • Reviewing and revising videos based on team and learner feedback to ensure high-quality final deliverables.
  • Coordinating with Learning Management System Content Coordinators and/or Training Developers to format, test, and upload videos.
  • Building and maintaining reusable video templates and visual assets to ensure consistency and streamline production.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of instructional design principles, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in using video/audio tools. They will be responsible for creating engaging instructional videos that support the company's training initiatives.

This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in instructional design, animation, and video production.
