Job Title: Asset Acquisition Specialist

About the Role:

The asset acquisition specialist will collaborate with acquisition and finance teams to perform tasks such as financial analysis, market research, due diligence, investment presentations, and pipeline management.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough financial analysis and underwriting on potential investments to identify opportunities and risks.
  2. Review offering memoranda and seller-provided materials including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows to assess the viability of investments.
  3. Develop and execute market research and analysis strategies to support investment decision-making.
  4. Prepare high-quality presentation decks to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  5. Assist in property-level due diligence, including lease review, rent roll, loan documents, and coordination with third parties.
  6. Perform market-level due diligence, including sale and lease comparables and investment trends.
  7. Organize and maintain the acquisition pipeline to ensure timely and effective execution of transactions.
  8. Provide administrative support to the acquisition and finance teams to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, or accounting is a plus.
  2. MBA degree preferred.
  3. 2-5 years of experience in real estate asset management, finance, or acquisitions.
  4. Experience with top consulting firms or financial institutions is a plus.
  5. Proficiency in underwriting and analyzing real estate opportunities.
  6. Advanced Excel modeling skills are required.
  7. Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
