Job Summary

The Procurement Head is responsible for overseeing the entire procurement process, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This role involves developing strategic procurement initiatives, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and optimizing procurement systems to support organizational goals.

This leadership role drives sustainable procurement practices, mitigates risks, and aligns procurement operations with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sustainable procurement policies and identify cost-saving opportunities through integrated supply agreements.
  • Lead the development and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for supplier performance.
  • Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate and finalize agreements to maximize cost savings and service efficiency, and conduct supplier evaluations to ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
  • Oversee procurement systems and technology to ensure compliance with organizational, legal, and regulatory requirements. Manage procurement budgets, drive cost reduction initiatives, assess market risks for supply chain stability, and ensure contractual integrity through collaboration with finance and legal teams.
  • Lead and develop the procurement team, provide stakeholder training on best practices, and foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and ethical procurement.
  • Build strong internal and external relationships, ensure clear communication of procurement strategies, and present key initiatives to executive management.
