This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the planning and execution of audit engagements within the Asia-Pacific region, working closely with partners across multiple time zones and jurisdictions.

As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders, exercising leadership during planning interviews, and delivering high-quality audit projects that adhere to all policies and standards.

  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, including discussing business risks, issues, and opportunities.
  • Escalate concerns or budget variances that may impact project timelines.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute testing approaches, ensuring clear documentation and accurate risk assessments.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of business risks, controls, and processes.
  • Apply analytical skills to identify key risks and controls, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Foster collaboration with other team members to ensure quality work and timely delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or Economics preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, PRM, CPA, CISA, CIA, ACA, or ACCA are beneficial but not mandatory.
  • 6+ years of auditing experience in a financial institution or similar public accounting experience in the financial services industry is advantageous.

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and experience with audit workpaper applications like Teammate is desirable.
