Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Information Security Specialist to join our team at Electronic Transfer and Advance Processing Inc.

  • The role involves supporting the organization's information security and privacy initiatives by ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, identifying and assessing security and privacy risks, and implementing mitigation actions.

  • You will contribute to employee awareness efforts by assisting in the development and delivery of training programs on security and privacy best practices, policies, and procedures.

  • Your responsibilities will also include helping to conduct regular testing and evaluation of security controls, privacy measures, and vendor assessments to ensure ongoing compliance.

  • You will maintain accurate records, assist with incident reporting related to security or privacy, and provide support for governance committees in managing information security and privacy risks.

  • This is an exciting opportunity to work with different quality management frameworks, such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, and 5S, to improve organizational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor information security and privacy programs.

  • Track compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies related to information security and privacy.

  • Identify and assess security and privacy risks related to systems and data, proposing mitigation actions under the guidance of senior team members.

  • Contribute to security and privacy awareness initiatives by assisting in the development and delivery of employee training programs on best practices, policies, and procedures.

  • Conduct regular tests and evaluations of security controls and privacy measures, documenting findings and supporting their resolution.

  • Participate in activities to improve security and privacy policies, procedures, and controls as part of the continuous enhancement of the organization's information security and privacy programs.
