Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled professional to occupy the role of Investment Analyst. The primary objective is to assist in the identification and evaluation of investment opportunities that align with our mission to drive economic growth and social development.

The Investment Analyst will be responsible for conducting thorough financial analysis and evaluations of prospective and existing fixed income and equity issuers, both local and global, to inform investment decisions.

Furthermore, the analyst will prepare investment evaluations for other prospective assets under trust, such as INMES and Real Estate Properties, for approval by the Trust Committee.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting thorough financial analysis and evaluation of prospective and existing fixed income and equity issuers, both local and global, to inform investment decisions.
  • Preparing investment evaluations for other prospective assets under trust, such as INMES and Real Estate Properties, for approval by the Trust Committee.
  • Reviewing the financial health of accredited counterparties and equity brokers to mitigate risks in executing trade transactions and ensure their going concern.
  • Developing internal credit and equity risk ratings for both accredited and client-directed issuers to ensure investments meet acceptable standards.
  • Analytically reviewing fixed income and equity issuers (including INMES) on an annual basis, as well as the financial performance of equity brokers to inform the Broker Ranking System.
  • Publishing Investment Reports on upcoming fixed income and equity issuances for client use.
  • Maintaining a watchlist of deteriorated fixed income and equity investments under trust, providing investors with timely notifications to liquidate as needed.

Requirements:

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or any related field.
  • Relevant certifications in CFA or equivalent are advantageous.
  • No less than 5 years of relevant experience in credit analysis, investment/equity research, and asset management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively manage senior stakeholders.
