About the Role:

As a Utility Team Lead, you will manage and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring high-quality inspections, data accuracy, and process improvements within the electric utility sector. You will oversee the cataloging of utility assets, identify equipment issues and potential hazards, and collaborate with utility companies to meet project goals and deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers to ensure high-quality inspections and accurate data.
  • Catalog utility assets and identify equipment issues or hazards.
  • Evaluate work packages for quality control and compliance with project standards.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with utility companies to meet project goals and deliverables.
  • Align data accuracy with industry standards.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance technical knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in the electric utility field.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient computer skills with good written and oral communication abilities.
  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) and national engineering standards.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work remotely and coordinate effectively with a distributed workforce.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies.
