Job Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Regulatory and Reporting Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and submitting regular regulatory reports to regulatory bodies such as IC and SEC.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit regular regulatory reports to regulatory bodies such as IC and SEC.
  • Liaise with IC on regulatory reporting requirements, including IC annual audits and annual statements.
  • Liaise with industry associations, such as PLIA and PIRA, to ensure timely submissions of reports, surveys, or documents.
  • Lead and ensure compliance with statutory annual audit processes, liaising with external auditors as needed.
  • Support the business team by assessing the impact of new and current regulations applicable to SeaInsure.
  • Monitor changes provided by regulators regarding reporting/disclosure requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting.
  • Certified Public Accountant is an advantage but not required.
  • Preferably with experience working in a Big 4 firm or a reputable insurance company focusing on regulatory functions.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of related work experience.
  • General knowledge, skills, and competencies in accounting principles and regulations related to the insurance industry.
