Job Title:

We are seeking an accomplished Kernel Developer to join our team.

This role involves working collaboratively with a global team to design and develop kernel-level software for the Linux operating system.

Key responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, taking ownership of kernel delivery projects, and contributing to the improvement of tooling and automation for kernel testing and deployment.

Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing, submitting, and applying kernel patches, collaborating with internal and external maintainers, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.

Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of Linux kernel fundamentals and architecture
  • Proficiency in C and/or Rust programming languages
  • Experience with version control systems, ideally Git
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team
Nice-to-have skills:
  • Knowledge of device drivers and low-level system engineering
  • Experience with kernel patching and debugging
  • Python and Bash scripting ability
  • Familiarity with Ubuntu/Debian/Snap packaging
