Job Description:

The Film and Television Producer Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the coordination and organization of pre-production activities, including casting, script development, location scouting, and budgeting.

This role requires strong communication and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the production team to create production schedules and timelines.

  • Organize and attend production meetings, take notes, and distribute relevant information to the team.

  • Assist in the hiring and management of crew members, including production assistants and other support staff.

  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure all necessary equipment and resources are available for production.

  • Assist in the management of on-set logistics, such as overseeing the set-up and breakdown of equipment and handling any issues that arise during filming.

  • Collaborate with the post-production team to ensure a smooth transition between production and post-production phases.

  • Assist in the coordination and organization of post-production activities, such as editing, sound design, visual effects, and color grading.

  • Review and provide feedback on production drafts, edits, and rough cuts to ensure they align with the creative vision.

  • Assist in the coordination and execution of marketing and promotional activities for the project.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a producer role for a production house, event, commercial, film or TV.

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Multimedia, Arts, Broadcasting, Advertising, or related field.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

  • A good understanding of the production process and familiarity with industry standards and practices.

  • The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and tight deadlines.
