Senior Developer Position

We are seeking an experienced developer to join our team in Cebu. Our company is a global leader for integrated software and vehicle technology for the environmental services industry.

As a senior software engineer, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining our environmental software products. You will work closely with a team of developers using latest versions of Microsoft Visual Studio (C#, ASP.NET) and Microsoft SQL Server.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of Web Technologies such as .NET Core, Web API, C#, JavaScript, jQuery and CSS3. They will also have experience developing applications in C#, ASP.NET or SQL Server and strong experience with Angular preferably, or React, Vue or Typescript.

Responsibilities include:

  • {li} Developing software solutions to defined standards.{/li}{li} Delivery of software development projects both as stand-alone and as a team member of internal agile and outsourced development teams.{/li}{li} Development of embedded applications that utilise GIS related plug-ins (including vehicle navigation and route optimisation).{/li}
{p class='small-header'>In addition to the above responsibilities, you will also be required to develop and deliver project updates to senior management.Key Skills{p>Our ideal candidate will have:}
  • {li} Strong technical knowledge of Web Technologies such as .NET Core, Web API, C#, JavaScript, jQuery and CSS3.{/li}{li} Experience developing applications in C#, ASP.NET or SQL Server preferred but other OO languages such as Java will be considered.{/li}{li} Strong experience with Angular preferably, or React, Vue or Typescript./li>{li} Good understanding of Design Patterns and Principles.{/li}{li} Strong experience in MVC and Entity Framework.{/li}{li} Fluent in MS SQL Server, database and programming.{/li}{li} Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and Development.{/li}{li} Experience with web services, REST API./li>{li} Familiar with security mechanisms including web and web service security and their implementations./li>{li} Experience in writing Unit test cases{/li>

  • {li} Degree in Computer Science, Software Development or equivalent.{/li>{li} 5-10 years' experience in an Information Technology environment, specializing in Software Development, would be a distinct advantage.{/li>{li} Excellent communication and personal skills, able to communicate clearly, effectively, and form effective working relationships with customers, colleagues, suppliers and third parties.{/li>{li} High levels of drive and energy.{/li>{li} Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.{/li>{li} Enthusiasm and general interest in Software Development.{/li>{li} Passion for user interface.{/li>{li} Commitment to on-going personal development.
