Renewable Energy Specialist

The role of Renewable Energy Specialist involves conducting comprehensive reviews of renewable projects, encompassing solar, wind, and energy storage systems. This position requires analyzing operations data of renewable power sources, compiling relevant information from design documents and contracts, performing detailed data analysis, and drafting inputs to technical due diligence reports.

  • Design Review: Conduct in-depth assessments of renewable project designs, focusing on solar, wind, and energy storage solutions.
  • Operations Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret operations data of renewable power sources to identify areas for improvement.
  • Data Compilation: Compile and organize data from design documents and contracts to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Technical Due Diligence: Draft inputs to technical due diligence reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the provided information.

This position demands a strong understanding of techno-commercial aspects of renewable energy projects, including cross-inter and intra-linkages of project agreements, how design and technical issues impact commercial positions, and how they affect lenders and investors. A broader understanding of technical inputs in financial models is also desirable.

For this challenging role, we seek a professional with 5-8 years of experience in technical due diligence, lender's technical advisory, feasibility studies, or similar roles. A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with a Master's degree in Engineering or Finance preferred, but not mandatory.
