Job Title: Medical Documentation Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Medical Documentation Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately recording patient medical history, symptoms, previous medical diagnoses, and other pertinent health background.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Record patient information in electronic health records (EHRs) and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  2. Document physician's or healthcare provider's findings, follow-up instructions, and prescribed treatments.
  3. Transcribe verbal orders and medical dictation related to patient orders like laboratory tests and medications.
  4. Create and maintain EHR system records.
  5. Facilitate coordination between healthcare providers, patients, and professionals.
  6. Ensure accuracy of medical record documentation and compliance with regulatory and/or institutional standards.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in medical fields or pharmaceutical-related industry.
  2. At least 1-year experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant, Medical Documentation, or related field.
  3. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal (At least B2 level).
  4. Solid understanding of medical terminologies and practices.
  5. Proficient in EHR systems and ability to troubleshoot common technical issues.
  6. Understanding of healthcare privacy regulations.
  7. Solid organizational & time management skills with keen attention to detail.

Schedule: US work hours (20-40 hours per week). Location: This is a remote job.

Compensation Package:

  1. Entry Level (1-3 years of experience): Up to $39,500.
  2. Intermediate Level (3-5 years of experience): Up to $45,000.
  3. Expert Level (5+ years of experience): Up to $50,500.
