Job Description

The Production Supervisor will oversee the production process to ensure that all products meet the required standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Implementation of Quality Control Procedures: Implement strict QA/QC inspection activities to guarantee adherence to established standard operating parameters and manufacturing process flow specifications.
  2. Food Safety Management: Strictly implement Food Safety Program and practices such as Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Sanitation Program, etc.
  3. Product Monitoring: Responsible for monitoring and ensuring product food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
  4. Critical Control Points: Monitor and program critical control points (CCP).
  5. Record Keeping: Correctly record and file all relevant records, forms, and documentation in the Quality Management System.
  6. Product Formulation: Ensure correct product batching and formulation guidelines for products to be produced during processing.
  7. Sample Collection: Collect product samples or batch samples for Product Development, lab retains, and the laboratory when directed.
  8. Daily Inspections: Perform daily inspections on raw materials, products, tools, equipment, and machinery before and after production.
  9. Problem Reporting: Report problems or concerns that may affect product quality and production efficiency to senior officers or immediate superiors immediately.
  10. Production Planning: Complete production planning by scheduling personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results to concerned departments and management.
  11. Production Supervision: Supervise the preparation of production schedules, preparation, and assembly of production flow and finished products.
  12. Health and Sanitation Standards: Ensure production meets health, sanitation, and quality standards set by the corporation, food industry, and government agencies.
  13. Material Requisitions: Responsible for all material requisitions and deviations not client specific.
  14. Purchase Orders: Monitor incoming Purchase Orders.
  15. Label Issuance: Produce and issue sticker labels.
  16. Batch Monitoring: In charge of Batch Monitoring.
  17. Production Output: Check production output against set or target production plan.
  18. Safety Environment: Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on use of control points, equipment, and resources, and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
  19. Manufacturing Information: Provide manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records, forms, data, and documentation system; answering questions and responding to requests.
  20. Efficiency Improvements: Identify issues in production efficiency and suggest improvements.
