IT Operations Specialist Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled IT Operations Specialist to join our organization and provide technical assistance and support to end-users. This role will focus on managing tasks in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Azure AD, while also providing general hardware and software support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage user accounts, groups, security configurations, and access controls within the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Azure AD.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users' hardware and software issues.
  • Respond promptly to user inquiries, diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently.
  • Assist users with software installations, updates, and configuration settings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain IT infrastructure.
  • Perform regular system maintenance, including monitoring and optimization of system performance.
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation of IT procedures and user guides.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist with a focus on Microsoft 365 and Azure AD administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and ability to troubleshoot related issues.
  • Familiarity with Azure AD and proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively assist end-users.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Amendable to rotational shift schedule and on-call whenever needed.
