Job Description

Talino Venture Studios is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supporting various financial activities, and performing administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily accounting tasks such as billing, invoicing, reconciliation, and ensure that all month-end and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Ensure that all accounting processes are aligned with Talino Venture Studios' procedures.
  • Coordinate with banks, government entities, and other external parties to address inquiries, submit and update relevant forms, and attend to other relevant matters.
  • Maintain, reconcile, and update financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, and financial statements.
  • Generate and analyze financial reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Process invoices, verify expenses, and ensure payments are made accurately and on time.
  • Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing clients and following up on outstanding payments.
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process by providing financial data and analysis.
  • Monitor budget performance and report any deviations.
  • Stay updated on relevant accounting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience in accounts payable and receivable, bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, intercompany reconciliation, and closing of books.
  • Experience in filing of taxes and government remittances (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
