Job Description

As a Tax Accountant, you will handle financial tasks and ensure accuracy and compliance for clients. You'll leverage accounting tools and processes to deliver exceptional financial solutions from the comfort of your home.

  • Manage client finances, prepare tax returns, and reconcile accounts with attention to detail and precision.
  • Utilize Xero bookkeeping software, MS Excel skills, and knowledge of ATO services to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to provide expert financial guidance and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare income tax returns, business activity statements, and financial statements with accuracy and speed.
  • Perform reconciliations, journal entries, work paper preparation, and spreadsheet analysis.
  • Review and edit peer work to ensure quality and accuracy.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Graduate degree in Business or Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role (AU experience required)
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
