Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Facility Exterior Designer. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in exterior facade detailing, quantity takeoffs, and preparing comprehensive shop drawings.

The successful applicant will work closely with engineers to develop and refine designs and calculations, ensuring seamless integration with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exterior Facade Design: Create detailed shop drawings for windows, curtain walls, and panel systems with precision and attention to detail.
  • Maintenance of Quality Control: Ensure all drawings meet applicable codes, standards, and project specifications through rigorous review and revision processes.
  • Collaboration with Engineers: Work closely with engineers to develop and refine designs and calculations, ensuring seamless integration with project requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience in exterior facade design, including curtain walls, windows, and cladding systems, with a strong understanding of construction documents and architectural drawings.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Logikal Software, and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate and comprehensive work products.
