Main Responsibilities:
• Manage the credit quality of Fixed Income investments of AIAIM PH, AIA Philippines, and its affiliates in accordance with AIA Group's credit risk guidelines.
• Contribute to the attainment of portfolio returns through the evaluation of public and private portfolios and issuer-specific risk and valuation.
• Collaborate in the management of public and private credit sub-portfolios.
• Evaluate potential private credit investments by taking the lead in preparing in-depth investment proposals for internal and regulatory approvals.
• Negotiate investment terms and conditions.

Leadership Responsibilities:
• Oversee other Credit Research Analysts and ensure the quality and timely delivery of all credit reports.

Administrative Responsibilities:
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining industry/sector allocation and limits and appropriate exposure for each obligor by performing comprehensive credit analysis and recommending appropriate credit ratings.
• Perform periodic and ad hoc credit reviews, macroeconomic and industry analysis, company visits, and quarterly portfolio reviews with Group Credit Risk Management to safeguard credit quality of the portfolio and mitigate default risk.
• Ensure compliance with credit policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and regularly update obligor database as well as surveillance of Credit Watch List for deteriorating obligors.
• Work closely with the Fixed Income Portfolio Management Team for credit valuations and Dealing Team for accreditation and review of local and foreign Fixed Income and Equity brokers.
• Attend and lead weekly meetings with PMs, traders, and analysts and participate in weekly credit meetings with Group Investment.
• Collaborate with AIA Group Investments and COEs for alignment of credit research strategies, procedures, and best practices, and ensure compliance with AIA investment policies and guidelines.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders for Investments-related requirements.
• Continuously develop fundamental and technical skills to aid credit research skills. Attend market/economic or product briefings and similar functions and ensure awareness and preparedness to respond and adapt to financial market changes and developments.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Economics, Business, Finance, or another 4-year related course.
• Post-graduate studies, such as MBA, CFA, TIFP, etc. a strong advantage.
• With at least 6-10 years of related work experience, preferably in middle to senior management positions.
• Strong credit analysis and corporate finance skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
