Technical Lead for Software Development

We're looking for an expert in software development to join our team as a Senior Software Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building high-quality, scalable, and innovative applications that meet the needs of our clients.

  • Develop Python-based solutions with a focus on REST APIs, pass-through middleware services, and occasional ETL pipelines.
  • Design and build full-stack applications within AWS infrastructure, utilizing Python, React, and containerization best practices (e.g., Docker, ECS, EKS).
  • Create, implement, and maintain well-documented Python APIs and manage pass-through data integrations.
  • Provide technical guidance on API development and lead efforts around data migration from legacy systems.
  • Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, and stakeholders to gather and understand business and technical requirements.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies, offering insights to improve the team's technical capabilities.
Key Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
  • 5+ years of technical delivery and ownership of full-stack projects using React, Python, and Cloud services.
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS, including:
  • Containerization (Docker)
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
  • Deployment pipelines
  • 3+ years of experience with CSS and styling front-end applications.
  • 2+ years of experience with React.
  • 2+ years of experience with Next.js (including App Router and Server Components).
  • Proficiency in writing semantic HTML.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Experience managing OpenAPI Specification (OAS) documentation.
  • Proficient with version control tools such as GitLab, GitHub, and Bitbucket.
  • Proven ability to identify and drive high-impact projects that align with company strategy.
