Role Overview:

The QA Lead is a senior position responsible for leading testing efforts and ensuring high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute manual test cases and test scenarios for new and existing features.
  • Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing on web-based applications.
  • Develop and maintain automated acceptance tests using Codeception (Selenium-based).
  • Lead testing efforts and mentor junior team members.
  • Log, track, and validate bugs through the full development lifecycle.
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives with a quality-first mindset.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in manual testing, including writing clear and comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
  • Experience with automated testing tools for web applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Codeception (PHP) or similar acceptance testing frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies and common issues in web-based applications.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • A methodical, detail-oriented, and analytical approach to testing.
