Job Summary:

This is a full-time Video Editor position for our team.

We are seeking a highly skilled video editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for editing and assembling raw footage into compelling videos that align with our brand's storytelling style and guidelines. They will also collaborate with the creative team to understand video objectives, narrative structure, and desired visual effects.

In this role, you will be working closely with the creative team to integrate visuals and graphics into the final video. You will also be responsible for maintaining consistency in visual style, color grading, and audio quality throughout the video.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling videos that align with our brand's storytelling style and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to understand video objectives, narrative structure, and desired visual effects.
  • Trim, rearrange, and enhance video content to ensure a smooth flow.
  • Incorporate graphics, text, music, and sound effects to enhance storytelling and overall video quality.
  • Utilize video editing software (e.g. Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects) and other tools to edit and enhance video content.
  • Maintain consistency in visual style, color grading, and audio quality throughout the video.
  • Collaborate with scriptwriters, graphic designers, and animators to integrate visuals and graphics into the final video.
  • Stay updated on the latest video editing techniques, software, and industry trends.
  • Review and implement feedback from stakeholders and the creative team to refine video content.
  • Maintain an organized workflow, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines consistently.
  • Maintain high-quality, creativity, and attention to detail in all video editing processes.
