Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to oversee our financial reporting function. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing financial reporting strategies, maintaining internal controls, and managing a team of accountants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial reporting strategies to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage a team of accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure effective financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop financial reports that meet those needs.

Month-End & Year-End Closing:

  • Lead the preparation of adjusting entries and accruals for month-end and year-end closings, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
  • Oversee the reconciliation of complex accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of month-end and year-end closing activities.

Team Management:

  • Provide guidance and coaching to junior accountants, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Identify training needs and develop plans to address those needs, ensuring that the team has the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

Internal Controls & Process Improvement:

  • Develop and implement processes to maintain and improve internal control processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of internal controls and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, preferably within the gaming industry.
  2. Proven track record of success in developing and implementing financial reporting strategies.
  3. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  5. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification is a MUST.
