Job Overview:

The Credentialing Coordinator will be responsible for providing comprehensive support for all aspects of the credentialing and re-credentialing process. This includes managing applications, conducting primary source verification, and maintaining the credentialing database with accuracy and attention to detail.

About the Role:

  • Comprehensive Credentialing Support: The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant administrative support experience, ideally within a healthcare setting or a regulated environment. They will be responsible for providing thorough and accurate documentation, facilitating the credentialing process, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Regulatory Compliance and Liaison: This role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders (licensing boards, payers, providers). The successful candidate will ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards.

  • Privileging and Onboarding Assistance: The Credentialing Coordinator will assist with the provider privileging process by preparing necessary documentation and facilitating the credentialing components of new provider onboarding to ensure a smooth transition.

  • Reporting and Process Contribution: This role involves supporting the generation of credentialing reports, proactively identifying and resolving credentialing issues, and contributing to the improvement of credentialing processes and workflows.

  • Adaptable Responsibilities: As the organization grows and evolves, the responsibilities of this role may adapt and change to meet the evolving needs of the company.

Benefits:
