Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Carry out repairs to faulty machinery and tools, using your mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and address them promptly.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Operate various machinery safely and efficiently, following established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including hours worked, materials used, and any issues encountered.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance or fabrication-related field.
  • Familiarity with metalworking processes, including cutting, welding, and assembly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and supervisors.
