Job Summary

  1. We are seeking an experienced Data Architect Lead to develop and maintain our data infrastructure and architecture.
  2. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in big data technologies and cloud platforms, with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines and other relevant tools for collecting, processing, and storing data.
  2. Build and maintain large-scale data architectures, including databases, data warehouses, and lakes.
  3. Develop and enforce data governance and data quality standards to maintain clean, reliable datasets.
  4. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data science, business analysts, product teams, and senior management, to identify and prioritize data needs.

Requirements:

  1. A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  2. At least 6 years of experience in Data Engineering in a Senior or SME capacity.
  3. Strong knowledge of big data technologies, primarily Hadoop and Spark.
  4. Proficient in Python for data processing, automation, and scripting with extensive experience in ETL processes and data pipelines.
  5. Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
