About the Role:
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users via various communication channels.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in various systems.
- Document and track issues using a ticketing system to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT systems and infrastructure.
- Assist with the setup and support of company meetings and events, including AV equipment.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Educate and train users on best practices and IT policies.
- Participate in IT projects and initiatives as needed.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Familiarity with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite).
- Basic understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and LAN/WAN configuration.
- Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote desktop tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
