Job Overview

The Technical Design Lead – Digital Platform (M365) plays a pivotal role in driving the design, configuration, and continuous enhancement of Microsoft 365 services across the organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • As a technical authority, oversee and provide expertise on Microsoft 365 platforms, focusing on performance optimization, integration, and user experience.
  • Lead the deployment, optimization, and maintenance of services across Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Power Platform, and related compliance/security tools.
  • Collaborate closely with architecture, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, compliant, and resilient service delivery.
  • Provide critical guidance and documentation to support platform standardization and governance, working in tandem with the cybersecurity team.
  • Partner with Application Support and TBM teams to promote adoption, training, and effective utilization of productivity tools.
  • Promote seamless service integration across M365, Box, and other platforms within the digital workplace ecosystem.
  • Offer third-level support and serve as an escalation point for complex issues and service disruptions.
  • Work collaboratively within Agile teams, embracing iterative delivery, continuous improvement, and adaptive planning.

 

Key Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365 platforms, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Key qualifications include:

  • Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Experience in leading deployments, optimizations, and maintenance activities for Microsoft 365 services.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
