About the Job

This role involves providing expert tax advice and services to Australian clients in a BPO setting.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in working with Australian clients in a BPO or outsourcing environment.

The key responsibilities include:

  1. Preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, trust, and partnership tax returns in accordance with Australian tax laws.
  2. Ensuring compliance with ATO and ASIC regulations.
  3. Preparing BAS, GST, and FBT returns for clients.
  4. Conducting tax planning, advisory, and forecasting to help clients minimize tax liabilities.
  5. Managing tax reconciliations, financial statements, and general ledger reviews.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) is preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Australian taxation, preferably in a BPO or outsourcing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws, GST, BAS, and ASIC compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software like Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and Excel.
