Visionary Software Specialist for Mir Stack Features

We are seeking a highly skilled software engineer with expertise in designing and implementing features across the Mir stack. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in both C++ and Rust, as well as a solid understanding of asynchronous programming and concurrency patterns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement features across the Mir stack
  • Assist in debugging, tracking down and fixing issues
  • Participate in code and architectural review
  • Develop and improve tests and performance benchmarks
  • Collaborate proactively with a distributed team

Requirements:
  • Excellent Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Exceptional modern C++ and excellent Rust programming skills
  • Familiarity with Linux as a development platform
  • Ability to collaborate remotely with diverse team members

Nice-to-have Skills:
  • Experience with the Wayland protocol ecosystem and compositors
  • Familiarity with graphics toolkits and animation frameworks
  • Solid understanding of concurrency patterns and asynchronous programming
