Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-savvy Social Media Content Strategist / Video Editor to own and elevate our social media presence.

About the Role:

This is more than just creating pretty graphics; we need a critical thinker who deeply understands how social media functions as a business funnel.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage and strategically grow all of our social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube), viewing each platform as a crucial business funnel.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies that convert social media audience engagement into active participation within our online community, leading to product adoption.
  • Collaborate with the in-house team on overarching social media strategy and execution, providing analytical insights and driving results.
  • Lead the editing of video content, ensuring high production quality and strategic alignment.
  • Create compelling content and post consistently across all platforms, ensuring a business-savvy mindset informs every design and editing choice.
Key Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in social media management, with a clear focus on driving business objectives, ideally within the entertainment industry.
  • A genuine passion for film and television, coupled with an understanding of the language and realities of being a filmmaker, director, producer, screenwriter, or actor.
  • A strong business-savvy mind and ability to think critically about design and editing choices in terms of their impact on business goals and conversion funnels.
  • Strong video editing skills (familiar with tools like Photoshop, Premiere Pro, etc.) with a portfolio to match.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively manage a content calendar and other responsibilities without requiring constant direction.
