Accounting Associate Role

We are seeking an ambitious and meticulous individual to fill the position of Accounting Associate. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Transaction Processing:
      • Ensure accurate and timely entry of transactions into our accounting system.
      • Monitor and reconcile cash/financial accounts on a regular basis.
    • Financial Reporting:
      • Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
      • Identify and explain discrepancies in financial data.
    • Cash Management:
      • Manage bank transactions, including deposits and withdrawals.
      • Process invoices and prepare payments in a timely manner.
    • Accounts Payable and Receivable:
      • Manage accounts payable, including bill payments and salary disbursements.
      • Handle accounts receivable, including collections and cash management.
    • General Ledger Maintenance:
      • Maintain and update the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

Requirements:

  • Education:
    • University degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • At least six months of progressive experience in handling accounting tasks.
  • Skillset:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
