Job Description

The Structural Engineering Expert will be responsible for researching suppliers to find the best goods at reasonable prices, negotiating contracts to ensure cost-efficiency and timely deliveries, evaluating quality to check that products meet company standards, managing records to keep track of purchases, pricing, and performance, and improving processes to recommend new systems or strategies to reduce costs.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for communicating with suppliers and other stakeholders, maintaining positive relationships, and analyzing project specifications, market conditions, and historical data to predict the cost of materials, labor, and equipment needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and evaluate suppliers to ensure high-quality products at competitive prices
  • Negotiate contracts to achieve cost savings and efficient delivery
  • Evaluate product quality to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Manage procurement records to track purchases and performance
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
Requirements
