Threat Lead Researcher

As a Cyber Threat Analyst at Infinit-O, you will be part of a team responsible for providing critical security intelligence to our customers. This role involves researching new adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), analyzing malware, and creating effective detections.

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct research on TTPs using various sources, including open sources, closed sources, and proprietary sources.

  2. Identify key details during research, such as infection chains, host and network IoCs, malware samples, threat actors, and MITRE ATT&CK tactics and techniques.

  3. Author TTP Instances, which provide detailed information on identified threat leads, including insights from open-source reporting and own analysis.

  4. Analyze malware samples associated with threat leads using sandbox environments and static analysis tools.

  5. Create malware or vulnerability detections that can be used for threat hunting, detection, and classification.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Cyber Intelligence.
  • At least two years of professional experience in the field.
  • Strong technical skills in Cyber Threat Intelligence and Threat Intelligence Platforms.
  • Experience working with OSINT and large datasets.
  • Familiarity with sandboxing, virtual machines, or other malware analysis tools.
