Lead Content Strategist

You will own the creation, optimization, and maintenance of both internal and external knowledge base content as a Lead Content Strategist at Apollo.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research, write, and develop new and updated knowledge base articles, FAQs, troubleshooting guides, snippets, and internal enablement docs.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to deeply understand new features and translate technical detail into clear, customer-ready content.
  • Collaborate with Support, Customer Success, and Enablement teams to capture recurring issues, identify knowledge gaps, and improve internal workflows.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate drafting, auditing, and surfacing weak or duplicate content.
  • Conduct recurring content audits to ensure KB remains accurate, current, and discoverable.
Competences:
  • Customer Focus: Writes with empathy, prioritizing clarity and usability for customers and internal teams.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in CMS platforms, analytics dashboards, and structured authoring systems.
  • Proficient in Git, HTML, and docs-as-code
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills to engage with SMEs and explain technical concepts.
  • Collaboration: Builds strong partnerships with Product, Engineering, Support, and CS teams.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensures all content is accurate, complete, and error-free.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively identifies knowledge gaps and proposes scalable solutions.
