Job Title: Project Financial Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Financial Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial support to project managers, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders.

About the Role

The Project Financial Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of projects by providing financial guidance, advice, and support. This includes reviewing project budgets, tracking expenses, and analyzing variances to ensure projects are delivered within budget and on time.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Review and manage project budgets, track expenses, and analyze variances.
  • Provide financial guidance and advice to project managers.
  • Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including project managers, team members, and external parties.
  • Analyze project costs and identify potential overruns.
  • Develop and implement financial plans to ensure projects are delivered within budget and on time.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports, including monthly invoicing and client reports.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses and analyze variances.
  • Cost Analysis: Analyze project costs, identify potential overruns, and recommend adjustments.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Extensive computing experience with ERP systems and MS Excel.
  • High level of effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Project management experience or knowledge is beneficial.
