The Store Manager plays a critical role in driving the success of our retail store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for achieving sales and profitability, merchandising, and shrinkage control, business analysis, customer service, and people management of the entire store.

Sales and Profitability Strategy:

  • We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual who can lead our sales and profitability efforts.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills.
  • The candidate should have at least 3 years of working experience in the related field and possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Administration or its equivalent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To achieve sales versus target by implementing effective sales strategies and managing inventory levels.
  • To manage EBIT and EBITDA versus target by controlling operating expenses and optimizing pricing.
  • To implement cost-effective plans to manage operating expenses.

Merchandising and Inventory Management:

  • We are looking for a candidate who can optimize product placement and inventory levels to maintain an ideal Shelf Service Level (SSL).
  • The candidate should be knowledgeable on product off-take particularly on fast-moving and best-selling merchandise to maximize sales.
  • The candidate should ensure that merchandise display guidelines are strictly followed to maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • The candidate should ensure that clean and fresh standards are observed in all departments to provide a positive shopping experience.
  • The candidate should maximize marketing promotions through timely and proper execution.
  • The candidate should ensure correct and timely implementation of space rentals.
  • The candidate should supervise cycle count, semi-annual, and annual inventory activities to ensure accurate results.
  • The candidate should ensure that security measures and control procedures are in place to prevent shrinkage.
  • The candidate should ensure that market returns (Return to Vendor) are within allowable percentage.

Customer Focus:

  • We are looking for a candidate who can ensure 100% compliance of all store personnel to customer service standards.
  • The candidate should conduct customer needs analysis to identify areas for improvement in the store.
  • The candidate should handle customer service-related complaints effectively.

Leadership and Teamwork:

  • We are looking for a candidate who can promote personal and professional growth of direct hires through appropriate training and workshops to enhance competency.
  • The candidate should conduct objective and timely performance evaluation.
  • The candidate should ensure proper implementation of employee discipline at all times.
  • The candidate should ensure 100% compliance with approved policies and procedures.

Education and Experience:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Administration or its equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
