We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs. This role requires expertise in Python, SQL, AWS technologies, geospatial data, and observability tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design scalable, high-performance backend systems and APIs.
  • Develop public-facing APIs ensuring secure, reliable access.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Implement observability practices using Datadog, New Relic, or similar.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, product teams, and stakeholders to align backend architecture with product needs.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of backend software development experience.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, including frameworks like Flask or FastAPI.
  • Proficient in SQL and PostgreSQL, with experience in geospatial extensions like PostGIS.
  • Familiarity with full-stack technologies required to build and run APIs.
  • Hands-on experience working with AWS services, including API Gateway, Lambda, and the Serverless Stack.
