Embedded Linux Solutions Architect

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Linux solutions architect to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance embedded systems.

A key focus of this role is to work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to identify business needs and develop innovative solutions that meet those requirements. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to articulate complex technical ideas effectively, and possess the ability to influence decisions across various departments.

The Embedded Linux solutions architect will be responsible for:

  • Engaging customers to understand their business challenges and developing customized solutions that address these issues
  • Participating in the delivery of select projects related to Embedded Linux and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion
  • Conveying market requirements to key stakeholders and contributing to the development or refinement of generic solutions to unlock market potential

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Fluent English language skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Extensive Linux experience (Debian or Ubuntu preferred)
  • Experience with distribution packaging (deb, rpm, ...)
  • Solid embedded Linux experience (Yocto, Buildroot...)
  • Proficiency in at least one of Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time for customer meetings and company events
