We are seeking a Portfolio Accountant Leader to oversee the delivery of accounting and tax services to SME clients in Australia.
This role will lead a team of junior and senior accountants, aiming for high client satisfaction.
Through proprietary software and AI, our company makes back-office easy for micro SMEs.
We enable entrepreneurs to focus on growing their business and serving customers.
Our company operates in Corporate Secretary, Accounting & Bookkeeping, and FinTech payments, with offices worldwide.
We have raised financing and are recognized for growth as a leading tech-enabled service provider.
Responsibilities
- Provide accounting and tax services to a portfolio of Australian startup and SME clients
- Liaise with authorities on behalf of clients
- Prepare and submit BAS returns
- Prepare and submit tax returns
- Supervise and control remote bookkeeping clients
- Advise and engage with clients on various accounting and taxation matters
- Hire, train, nurture and grow a team of accountants
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience managing a team of accountants servicing Australian clients
- Experience in team management – hiring, training and nurturing a team of ambitious accountants
- Experience managing a portfolio of SME clients with scope ranging from bookkeeping to taxation services
- Excellent command of client communication and delivery organization
