Bunch Tech Corp seeks a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team in Siargao Island. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for executing various financial procedures, including month-end and year-end closings, accounts payable and receivable, tax returns, bank reconciliations, general ledger reviews, forecasting, and budgeting of Philippine and Hong Kong entities.

In this role, you will produce a high volume of complex accounting work and take the lead on preparing corporate financials and special projects. Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Financial close process including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and other analyses
  • Support external reporting process and deadlines
  • Coordinate and assist with external audit requests
  • Assist with implementation and compliance
  • Evaluate integrity and accuracy of financial data
  • Conduct technical accounting research and document new policies and procedures
  • Proactively identify issues, drive continuous improvement, optimize, and automate processes/systems
  • Provide support for special projects, initiatives, and analyses
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve accounting-related queries
  • Generate and send invoices to clients promptly and accurately and ensure timely collections

To qualify for this position, you must have at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in outsourcing industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills is required. Experience in Xero is preferred, as well as working knowledge of reporting requirements. Strong project management skills with the ability to anticipate events, prioritize assignments, deal with interruptions, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment are essential.

This is a salaried position with an estimated annual salary of $50,000-$60,000 based on your qualifications and location. You will be expected to work in a flexible schedule, accommodating the needs of management and departments.
