Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer Role

This NOC Engineer role involves overseeing the day-to-day operation of network infrastructure, ensuring seamless delivery of services.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Utilize enterprise monitoring tools to guarantee 24/7 availability.
  • Detect and resolve incidents promptly, including network performance degradation or security anomalies.
  • Maintain high availability and redundancy of critical systems supporting financial transactions.
  • Perform troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to senior engineers or third-party vendors as needed.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Information Technology or Computer Networking, or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of experience in a network operations or IT support role, preferably within a regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, BGP/OSPF routing protocols.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent.

  • Effective communication tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure in mission-critical situations.
