Seeking a skilled Risk Management professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risk across various business functions.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Generate market and liquidity risk management reports and other reporting requirements
  • Assist in updating policies, risk limits, and risk mitigation strategies that are regulatory-compliant and done in consultation with affected business units
  • Prepare an integrated database from various data sources using spreadsheets and data programming tools to extract relevant and useful information based on directives from the Market and Liquidity Risk team
  • Evaluate inconsistencies by breaking down data into its component parts to ensure figures being reported are comprehensible
  • Collaborate closely with the Market and Liquidity Risk Management team and accommodate automation requests as needed
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Computer Science or IT, Mathematics or Statistics, Business Studies or Management, Commerce, Economics, Finance, or related field
  • At least 4 years of experience in banking or financial services industry, specialized in Actuarial/Statistics and Risk Management
  • Background in Financial Crime (AML, CFT, and Sanctions) with a strong background in investigations
  • Deep understanding of various market and liquidity risk measures, including assumptions, strengths, and weaknesses
  • Knowledgeable in data processing software, such as SAS, Visual Basic, R, and good organizational skills
