Job Description:

Critical Responsibilities:
  • Create appraisal reports as a result of actual site investigations, checking and submitting evaluations for significant variances from BOQ, plans, and specifications to the Construction Project Manager;
  • Develop and implement manpower utilization schedules, equipment utilization schedules, and material delivery schedules, including quantity, specification, and dates;
  • Mobilize resources timely and manage the construction process effectively;
  • Ensure compliance with approved project specifications and quality standards;
  • Direct and instruct foremen and skilled workers on daily assignments;
  • Monitor output in line with project budgets;
  • Ensure quality work and implementation of scopes comply with approved specifications;
  • Prepare survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, or topographical/geologic data;
  • Conduct construction inspections and review structural integrity, recommending corrective actions to avoid cumulative effects and recover delays;
  • Provide regular updates to the Construction Project Manager on project progress;
  • Identify potential issues proactively and implement solutions;
  • Inspect projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, recommending improvements;
  • Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure proper procedures are followed;
  • Prepare reports for third-party evaluation, deficiency, and progress reports as requested by management.

Qualifications:

  • A licensed Civil Engineer is required;
  • Preferably three years of experience in construction, with hands-on implementation skills related to construction projects;
  • Excellent knowledge of construction materials and equipment; well-versed in actual productivity rates;
  • Experience in horizontal projects is an advantage;
  • Knowledgeable in Project Management;
  • The candidate must possess analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, good communication skills, leadership skills, and be willing to work in various locations outside NCR.
