Job Overview

As a contingent contact center agent, you will be the frontline of customer service, responding to disaster relief efforts with empathy and professionalism. Your goal is to improve customer experience during difficult times by applying customer service techniques and learning account management systems.

Key responsibilities include assisting customers with inquiries, learning common requests and solutions, improving the customer experience, utilizing service techniques and systems, and escalating dissatisfaction to proper channels.

Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words a minute)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems
  • Highly reliable with ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow up on customer issues
  • Aptitude for conflict resolution, problem solving, and negotiation
  • Customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious)
  • Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage
  • Strong team orientation and customer focus
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with change and ambiguity
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with team and customers
