Job Overview:
A skilled plumbing and sprinkler take-off specialist is needed to interpret drawings, perform take-offs, and prepare cost proposals for project estimation. The ideal candidate will have analytical skills, technical proficiency, and effective communication to ensure precise calculations and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct takeoffs from plumbing and sprinkler drawings to determine material quantities and labor costs
- Review all project documents and drawings to assess factors impacting the scope of work
- Obtain vendor pricing for materials and supplies to ensure cost accuracy
- Input takeoff data and prepare detailed proposals using provided Word and Excel templates
- Maintain attention to detail while meeting project deadlines
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience in Plumbing & Sprinkler Takeoffs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel for documentation and proposal preparation
- Hands-on experience with Revu Bluebeam for digital takeoffs and markup processes
- Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints with accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
